#StyleBattle Could you be the face of May?

It has been forever since I have blogged, and in all honestly I have been busy working at fashion app, Shopcade as an online merchandiser. I started with the company in January and it has been so excited getting settled into the role and bringing you all the top celebrities and trends on a daily basis. I know many of you fashion bloggers are busy posting your OOTD's day in day out and Shopcade is THE perfect place to update your outfits on a daily basis, think of it like instagram but 100% dedicated to fashion! Simply download the app for iphone or android and get uploading your looks with #StyleBattle. If you win you will get VIP entry to the #StyleBattle party, (the last one was pretty good!) as well as this you will have a professional photo shoot in WEARECOLLISION magazine, your hair styled by Lee Stafford and styled by celebrity stylist Sabina Emrit.

Once you have signed up follow me on Shopcade here.

Naomi Campbell for Vogue Italia, February 2013

Steven Meisel, Vogue Italia and Naomi Campbell all under one roof, what's not to love? The shoot, styled by Karl Templer showed Naomi propped up on various sets designed by Mary Howard. It's experimental, different and works so so well! On a first glance I couldn't help but think of a death row flashback from a film or TV series almost as if Naomi was about the receive the lethal injection. However I soon began to appreciate the beautiful lighting, photography and the garments themselves. Featuring outfits from Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein and Chanel this editorial shows that at the age of 42, Naomi Campbell still has what it takes to be a supermodel.

PAYDAY WISHLIST

Ok so it's been over a month now since I have been made redundant (boohoo!). However I now have a new job at Forever 21 on Oxford St and during my induction day (snooze) I was busy spending my pay packet in my head. Even though I know a shopping spree is a long way off as I have rent and Christmas to think about, one can still 'wish'. Rhinestones seem to be slowly making their way into our high street shops and I love it! It is a breath of fresh air from over done studding. For a cheaper alternative order some rhinestones yourself and update your current wardrobe (I know I will be).

Pull and Bear: A/W 2012 Lookbook

I always thought of Pull and Bear as a cheap spanish shop that wasn't really fashion forward. I used to visit my dad in Spain and it always seemed quite poorly made and it was only really good for basic tee's and leggings. I went into the Pull and Bear on Oxford St a couple of days ago and literally wanted everything! I only went in looking for a simple black dress for my graduation and came out with a wish list as long as my arm! The spike and stud phenomenon shows no sign of getting tired just yet but Pull and Bear have embraced it in their Autumn/Winter lookbook: Spikes & Studs.
