Whistles isn't usually somewhere that I would shop or seek for inspiration but their Spring/Summer 2013 campaign really caught my eye. Ever since showing their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at London Fashion Week in February the British company shows a more cotemporary side to the brand with more fashion forward pieces as well as timeless classics. From accessories to clothing Whistles is the perfect brand, offering you items to work in, dine in and go out in.

Summer WishList

I must admit I never really used to get the whole fascination everyone had with Pinterest until very recently.I used to use it every now and again but now it has clicked and I love it. I have to admit once upon a time I was the very same with twitter. I always said I won't have twitter and now look at me I tweet my way through every day. Pinterest boards are a great way to collate all of your inspiration for your home, life and also your wardrobe. I have started a board called 'WishList' that works alongside my blogging too, as I can capture items that I like for a later blog post as and when I see them. Ok so most of my wishlist currently involves clothes that I simply cannot afford but there are also some great affordable pieces from Monki, Klear Klutch and ASOS.  Take a look at my Summer Wish List straight from my board on Pinterest.

London Fashion Week. A/W '13 Day 2 Highlights

As part of the NEWGEN sponsorship J.JS Lee's last collection got great reviews making the Autumn/Winter collection a highly anticipated event. With J.JS Lee less is definitely more taking a sharp approach to tailoring for the modern women. The pastel colours of pink and blue stood out diffused by simple all black and white outfits. The collection was inspired by 'the innocence and purity of clouds and shadows from the window view of an airplane', explaining the great choice of pastel colours. The Saint Martin graduate shows that she is taking a consistence approach to her designs but in this instance steering away from O.T.T is a great choice. 

Clashing of colours and lots of prints, from leopard to floral, were huge for Sister by Sibling this season. Chunky neck pieces and headgear were hugely popular for the Sister by Sibling known best for their knitwear pieces. After making a huge name for themselves at London Collections: Men earlier in the year, their designs that push the boundaries for knitwear have everyone talking about them once again. The show opened with the one and only Cara Delevigne, we'd love to know which show she isn't covering this fashion week? Another great collection, you go sister!

House of Holland is always a catwalk favourite of mine, especially spotting Henrys very exclusive friends on the FROW. There were some extraordinary pieces in the Autumn/ Winter collection that was bursting with a seventies vibe. Some outfits looked like they had been fast forwarded straight from the seventies and others that had been updated with a modern edge. My favourite pieces were those embellished with gems and 'H' logos for Henry Holland himself. I personally cannot wait for the pink embellished jumper to be on sale!

Naomi Campbell for Vogue Italia, February 2013

Steven Meisel, Vogue Italia and Naomi Campbell all under one roof, what's not to love? The shoot, styled by Karl Templer showed Naomi propped up on various sets designed by Mary Howard. It's experimental, different and works so so well! On a first glance I couldn't help but think of a death row flashback from a film or TV series almost as if Naomi was about the receive the lethal injection. However I soon began to appreciate the beautiful lighting, photography and the garments themselves. Featuring outfits from Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein and Chanel this editorial shows that at the age of 42, Naomi Campbell still has what it takes to be a supermodel.

Valentine's Day Picks- His 'n' hers

There's not much time left until Valentines Day and if you are struggling to find the perfect gift for you other half, take a look at my gifts for him and her. I have taken my favourite picks from Mr Porter for him, and net-a -porter for her. A big sorry to my boyfriend if he is reading this and now expecting some huge gift for Valentines Day (haha). We are stepping into spring so insert a bit of colour into your wardrobe with a neon knit from Kenzo for her or a graphic tee from Katie Eary for him. Fourth and Main #2

I recently stumbled across Art and Culture publication Fourth and Main and was so impressed with the quality of the writing, photography and overall presentation that I had to share it with you. After researching a little bit into Fourth & Main, I found out that not only is it a Art and Culture publication but also a clothing line, with a store in London. If the clothing line is anything to go by the publication, then quality, attention to detail and presentation will be amongst some of it's strengths. 

Throughout the publication there are beautiful illustrations by the talented Micah Lideberg. I hadn't come across his work before, but after taking a look he is incredibly talented and each of his designs is well thought out and breath taking. Bargain Boots

I have needed a new pair of boots/shoes for every day use for so long now and what better time to have a look than in the sales? I was as shocked as you probably are that both of the above are from Primark. I love the black leather style boots with silver spikes, they will look great with tights and a LBD and for only £10 you can't go wrong. I had been expecting to pay a lot more than £10 for some boots so when I saw these burgundy flatforms for only £5 I didn't think twice-and for once they had my size in both! What do you think?

If you have been reading my blog recently you will already be aware of my new fascination with rhinestones, gems, pearls and pretty much any form of DIY/embellishment. Decorating your clothes with beads, sequins isn't something new but rhinestones are definitely making a big comeback. Take a look at number 1-don't they just take you back to your youth? I remember I had a purse with a very similar design when I was younger (doubt I had any money in it-whats changed haha).

Seeing Double

Anna and Sonya Kupriienko are twins from Ukraine that share much more than just a birthday, they share a modelling signing with Select model agency. As a pair they are known as Anna & Sonya K, and they just work so well together. So many photographers out there have played around with the themes of twins and seeing double and with this model duo it is reality. They made their catwalk debut at London Fashion week, September 2012.

PAUSE Magazine: Issue 2

I have been writing with PAUSE for a few months now and I have now interviewed both of their cover stars: Mikill Pane (Issue 1) and Vince Kidd (Issue 2). PAUSE is a menswear magazine, documenting everything from styling tips to up-and-coming designers. The autumn colour palette is filled with lots of khaki green colours and deep beiges. I am a huge fan of the Camoflage/army trend that has taken over our high street over the past month. Some people are over the studding trend but I still love it-in moderation! After getting a tortishelle Michael Kors watch for my birthday I have fallen in love with the brand-I also love this gold one pictured above.

Why does Pandemonia get FROW?

As another fashion week passes yet more articles are published about the Front Row debate. It is becoming more and more likely that celebrities are just being payed to attend shows rather than for the love of fashion. With Rihanna reported to getting $100,000 dollars per appearance it's slowly ruining what fashion shows are about. Earlier in the year I started to look into the front row debate and became fascinated with Pandemonia Panacea who is a regular front row icon.
