LCM: Christopher Shannon S/S 2014

Christopher Shannon was by far my favourite show of Spring/Summer 2014 at London Collections: Men. The show opened with outfits of grey and white but neon was obvious from the start with neon glitter in the models slicked back hair. The use of vibrancy and decision to use neon in a playful way worked well and didn't look overdone. It was a festival of bright colours and certainly showed the Spring/Summer season with a positive vibe. Model Chuck Junior showed us PVC at it's best in a striking grey outfit. Psychedelic animal prints also made an appearance, showing sports luxe in a different light. The finale itself was mesmerising with bright colours colours transcending the typical catwalk and showing us a glimpse of glittery heaven.

Whistles Spring/Summer 2013

Whistles isn't usually somewhere that I would shop or seek for inspiration but their Spring/Summer 2013 campaign really caught my eye. Ever since showing their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at London Fashion Week in February the British company shows a more cotemporary side to the brand with more fashion forward pieces as well as timeless classics. From accessories to clothing Whistles is the perfect brand, offering you items to work in, dine in and go out in.

Summer Essentials: Cochinechine

CoChineChine is a luxury boutique that after nine years selling beautiful designer clothes in Hampstead recently launched their very own website. Stocking everything great from Kenzo to COMME DES GARÇONS, CoChineChine have a striking brand image to rival the likes of net-a-porter and my-wardrobe.com. Don't be put off by the prices, even if something remains on your wish list for a couple of months it will feel like an achievement when you do finally get to show it off. I have always been a huge fan of fast fashion and spending my money when I have it but I think it is always worth spending that bit more on your clothes. Even if you have to save hard it is worth it to get those quality and timeless pieces we all deserve. Here are my 'Summer Essentials' from CoChineChine. If you are in North London then pop in store, you will be welcomed with open arms.

A.P.C X Nike

A.P.C & Nike have teamed up once again to bring you an update of the shoe of the moment 'Air Max 1'. If life was as simple as a game of monopoly, I would make sure all of my properties were mortgaged for a pair of these on my feet right now. Simple in design but with a beautiful and minimal finish, A.P.C and Nike have created a collection that will form the basis of many wardrobes this summer. Unlike other collaborations at a first glance A.P.C's involvement isn't obvious, but that's what brilliant about them. As well as the ever popular 'Air Max 1' the A.P.C x Nike collaboration also features The Dunk available in beige and black.

Pay Day Picks: Urban Outfitters

Pay day is finally here, so make the most of it and shop your must have items now. Urban Outfitters have a great range of items that are so on trend right now and I have had my eye on them for quite a while now. Monochrome is a huge trend so layer white and black accordingly and show off your new clothes. Urban Outfitters isn't just a clothing brand so join in the whole lifestyle by buying a new iphone cover or maybe some headphones? The item I have to have in my life asap is the chunky heeled boots from Vagabond, what do you think?

Mocks Spring/Summer 2013

I know it may not seem like it with this cold spell we are having but Spring is just around the corner (I promise), so brighten up your wardrobe in advance with a pair of colourful Mocks. A distant relative of the moccasin (don't worry I had to google them aswell), the Mocks bring the traditional concept straight to the 21st century with a collection filled with vibrant colours that are going to be so in this Spring/Summer. Whether you are off to the park for a picnic or for a dog walk these Mocks are great!

As much as us girls love to say 'no pain no gain' when it comes to our choice of shoes Spring/Summer is all about getting outside and having fun, so keep your heels in your wardrobes please. You can finally ditch that pair of shoes that you only keep because they are comfortable and replace them with a pair that are comfy but also mega stylish! Mocks are made from an innovative new material adding a new sense of comfort to every day use. They are also washable, so whatever you get up to this Spring/Summer, the only reason you'll need to buy a new pair is to add another colour to your wardrobe.

Mocks are available in a wide range of 16 colours, my personal favourite are the neon pink colour but looking through, I really do feel spoilt for choice.

'Classic but casual, sophisticated but fun-break the mould with Mocks'.

Missoni S/S 2013 Campaign

Despite having deep rooted family issues after Vittorio Missoni (Marketing Director and son) and wife went missing after NYE on Los Roques, the company have still managed to put together a brilliant Spring/Summer Campaign for their 60th Anniversary. Shot by the one and only Alasdair Mclellan the campaign shows that the family run company can do so much more than striped knitwear.

The campaign comes at a sad time as the Missoni family are eagerly awaiting news in regards to their son Vittorio Missoni, who's plane mysteriously disappeared soon after take off on the 4th of January 2012. Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Italian brand will be very hard without Vittorio but I wish them all the best in the search for him and his wife. Despite the family issues the Missoni family have to power on through to make the Missoni brand something to be proud of, and this Spring/Summer campaign showcasing works from past and present is just what they need.
