Marc Jacobs SS15!

After a long line of celebrity endorsed advertising campaigns for his Marc Jacobs label, the fashion designer has taken a more innovative stance for his SS15 advertising campaign for his second label Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Quirky detailing, playful embellishments and stand out patterns are what gives Marc by Marc Jacobs that fun youthful edge. Appealing to those looking to make a statement with their outfit choices whilst building a wardrobe of overstated designer pieces. For the SS15 Campaign Marc put traditional methods aside for the second time and cast his models from straight from his phone through social media app, Instagram!

To enter with the chance of taking part in the photo shoot, you had to upload your style shot with #castmemarc. Oh & then you need to actually stand out, out of the 100,000+ images that were uploaded. In the end 11 models were chosen from around the world, including; London, America, Switzerland and South Korea. Take a look at the full campaign on Models.com

My week through Instagram...

I have only had instagram since August but I am definitely addicted! I find it hard to go a day without posting an image, and whether boring or not I am going to share with a week of images with you.It has been another very busy week for me in London from sight seeing to lots and lots of interviews. I absolutely love London but I can't wait until I have money to go on a huge shopping spree.

Christmas lights on Regents St, London

The lights really are impressive in London this year and I love being part of the christmassy atmosphere every day. Regents St and Oxford St both have a lovely vibe at the moment and I must have taken about one hundred images now just of the christmas lights-sorry instagrammers!
Graduation-Fashion with Photography (First Class Honours)
On Monday I headed back to Southampton for my graduation! I know you may be thinking 'that's late' and yes in typical Southampton Solent style our graduation was months late. It was well worth it though and I finally had my moment in the gown and hat! Unfortunately my dad couldn't make it as he lost his passport, but the great thing about technology is that he could watch the whole ceremony online. I do keep joking now though that he will just have to pay for me to do a masters so he can make that ceremony (I can keep wishing!).

After my successful attempt at walking over the stage without falling over I headed back to Oxfordshire to go for a family meal. It was such a big day for me and I got absolutely spoilt.

New charms for my nomination bracelet-scroll and graduation hat!
After all of the excitement of my graduation I headed back to the big smoke in search of that 'perfect job'. I have applied for every job under the sun from Production Assistant at REP Ltd to Marketing Executive for a boutique in Chelsea. However in London it all seems to be a waiting game and in the end I had to accept a job at Forever 21, Oxford St. It isn't the type of job that I particularly want to be in but for not it will pay the bills and it is Oxford St!!

As we have only been living in London for around two weeks now it is all still very exciting. I love making the most of what the city has to offer and keeping myself busy. Today we spent the day visiting Tate Modern and generally being tourists around the London Bridge kind of area. James also starts his job tomorrow and I start at Forever 21 next week so we thought we would make the most of our free time!

London Living

It has now been 4 days since I have moved to London and I absolutely LOVE IT! I wish I had done it sooner but I am here now and loving every minute of it. I have nearly unpacked everything and the place is starting to feel very homely. Sunday was the first day where it really felt like I was living in London and me and my boyfriend went to Oxford Street shopping for the day. As the evening kicked in the christmas lights were absolutely stunning-it felt magical.

I then had a meeting with Pause Mag-it was so nice to be able to hop on the tube rather than the train or coach I would normally have to take. Yesterday I had my first interview for Marketing Executive for a boutique on the New King's Road. The role sounds challenging and very fast-paced but it sounds amazing and I would love to get it! I have been asked back for a second interview so fingers crossed!

My life through Instagram...

Ok so it has been a couple of weeks since I have last blogged! I have been so busy (it's no excuse I know) but I thought I would fill you in on what I've been up to that has resulted in my lack of posting.

First things first I FINALLY HAVE AN IPHONE!!! So here is my first Instagram post! Enjoy :)

1. So firstly I have been busy creating my venture/ jewellery business @ctchtwentytwo . I came up with the idea after being totally bored of not knowing what I want to do since graduation. The situation I am in looking for a job in London is a 'catchtwentytwo' in itself. When applying for jobs in the fashion industry I have got as far down on the job description until I see 'minimum of ones years experience needed in the field'.  I thought I would turn the negative job searching into a positive and keep my mind active!

2. A picture of my beautiful dog Mr Handy who is 1 today!!! I don't know what I would do without him.

3. Gemini & Leo mugs. It has been a busy and exciting couple of weeks and as a last minute decision am moving in with my boyfriend in Southampton. I feel as though I have only just unpacked from being at Uni but life is exciting and I am looking forward to what the future holds. These are a couple of mugs that we have bought for the flat!! EEEK

4. Some spike earrings by @ctchtwentytwo! On sale now from only £2.99: https://www.etsy.com/listing/109125737/bronze-spikestud-earring

5. PAUSE magazine is an online blog that I have been writing for over the past couple of months! I was lucky enough to get the cover interview that featured lyrical genius, Mikill Pane. It is a brilliant magazine and the editor @Johnson_Gold is a very talented man with a brilliant future ahead of him. Order your copy now online at: www.pausemag.co.uk

6. Another bracelet by @ctchtwentytwo. For more info contact me on twitter:@katiehandybeith or katiehandybeith@gmail.com

7. It's that time of the year again-London Fashion Week. I spent the day there on Saturday as a writer for @Pause_Mag and even caught up with an old uni friend at the Jasper Garvida show at Bloomsbury hotel. All and all it was a brilliant day!! Watch pause mag for Street Style and my London Fashion Week post very soon!!

8. You can't go to London Fashion Week and not get an instagram of some street style. Pause caught up with electro band 'Plastic'. Their style certainly caused a stir at London Fashion Week and their eclectic use of customising and bright colours worked brilliantly. They might not be everyones cup of tea but I love them!! Check them out on twitter: @PlasticUKMusic

9. Ok so there's some more @ctchtwentytwo bracelets. I hope you like!
