PAUSE Pop Up Launch Party

Menswear magazine PAUSE have progressed so much in the last year that they decided to launch their first ever pop up shop. Funded by the Mayor of London, Camden Council and Camden Town United, Camden Collection supports up-and-coming creative business and backed the pop up shop. I went along on Tuesday evening for the launch party and what a success it was. With great music, a creative crowd from bloggers and PR's to press and designers. I even bumped in Vince Kidd who I interviewed for the 2nd Issue of PAUSE, as he turned round and asked 'Where do I know you from?'. Stocking brands such as Hubert & Calvin, Watch Warehouse, Mr Gugu and TWOANGLE & Serge DeNimes, the pop up shop has a great range of diverse menswear. What a great location for a pop up shop too, situated at 69 High Street, Camden. You have until the 28th of July to pop down, but if I was you i'd get down sooner rather than later!

PAUSE Magazine: Issue 2

I have been writing with PAUSE for a few months now and I have now interviewed both of their cover stars: Mikill Pane (Issue 1) and Vince Kidd (Issue 2). PAUSE is a menswear magazine, documenting everything from styling tips to up-and-coming designers. Everything from the graphics to the photography has really improved this issue, it is definitely a magazine to watch out for. It would be great to get some feedback on my interview with Vince Kidd for any of you who do order a copy!

Busy busy busy...

The past couple of weeks seem to have flown by.. There has been some bad news but also some exciting changes and I think it is all for the best.. I had a wonderful holiday in Tunisia and saw some wonderful sights- a 2 day trip to the sahara was definitely something I won't forget...

Even though we went away for a nice break and mainly to sunbathe the weather around the pool wasn't  great.. Which in the long run was probably better because we went on a 2 day trip to the sahara and saw so many great sites! I'm not sure I would recommend Tunisia as a country for a holiday-you get to see some great sights but it is very poor and you get hassled a lot.

The fashion magazine that I work for pause is working through its winter issue at the moment and asked me if I would do the winter cover interview for them. I was honoured to be asked again and we started brainstorming ideas of who would be great for the winter issue. It was then decided that Vince Kidd from the Voice would be a great choice!! On Monday I went to London to interview him and all in all it was a great experience... Keep your eyes peeled for the Winter Issue!!

Whilst on holiday we found out that Wahoo-the club and bar I work in and live above has shut down.. Even though this was awful news me and my boyfriend have decided it's a great opportunity for us to move to London.. So fingers crossed in the next week or so we will be living in the big smoke!!
